A pebble of stone, a glass globe resting upon it, and that is all. TULDIA stands as an object before it works as a light: switched off, it remains something to look at.
The opal glass lets no hot spot through. The light emerges evenly, warms the bands of stone around it and brings out the grain of the marble, invisible from afar.
The stripes are not printed: they are bands of marble and onyx joined together, and each plate comes from a different block. The width of the bands, the hue, the veining: nothing repeats from one piece to the next. Install it where it will be seen up close — beside a bed, in an entrance hall, or on a stretch of wall that calls for a single object rather than several.
