ZITO is a 20 cm disc made of genuine travertine, split in two across its entire width. From this irregular fissure escapes a warm line of light that runs from one side to the other — like a stone that has just been opened. When off, it is simply a disc mounted on the wall; when lit, the fissure becomes the focal point.
The light does not diffuse: it seeps through. The line grazes the stone on either side of the crack, revealing every pore and every chisel mark. A G4 holder and 5W are all it takes, with dimmer compatibility. Place a single one above a bedside table, or two facing each other on either side of a bed or mirror — the pack of 2 is designed for just that.
