A Stone Signed by Time Travertine cannot be imitated. Each disc is cut from a block shaped by water and centuries, preserving its pores, veins, and imperfections: the piece that arrives at your home will never have a twin. At the center, a core of solid wood warms the mineral geometry. Two living materials, a perfect circle, twenty-five centimeters of calm resting on the wall.
The Light Comes From Behind No visible source, no glare. The LED module is hidden behind the wooden disc and projects a 3000K warm white light onto the stone, which reflects it onto the wall in a soft, continuous ring. When lit, KUMI ceases to be a luminaire: it is an eclipse. When off, it remains a sculpture — the rare quality of objects that work equally well by day and by night.
The Detail That Changes a Room On either side of a bed, above an entryway console, in rhythm along a hallway: KUMI is designed to be thought of in pairs and series. Its wet area certification also opens up the bathroom and covered outdoor areas — where most decorative stones are not allowed to go.
