No vein repeats itself. Alabaster carries within it the signature of time — a piece, a character, a light. No molds. No repetition. Natural alabaster does not do the same thing twice.
Elegance in Its Purest Form A disc, a sphere, nothing more. VASPI sets an alabaster globe in the hollow of a wide aged-brass plate: two solid forms, two materials, not a single superfluous detail.
A Light That Pierces the Stone When lit, the stone glows from within and reveals its grain. The brushed brass casts a soft halo onto the wall around it — a 17.5 cm wall light with far more presence than its size suggests.
Each Piece Is Unique Alabaster is never the same twice. The milky clouding, the amber veins, the way the light sinks into it: it all depends on the original block. Alone beside a bed, as a pair on either side of a mirror, or in a row along a hallway, your piece will be unique, in the strictest sense.
By day, its matte texture creates a soft presence. At night, when lit, it becomes an organic source of light. Two objects in one.
