No vein repeats itself. Alabaster carries within it the signature of time — a piece, a character, a light. No molds. No repetition. Natural alabaster does not do the same thing twice.
The BATRAZ ceiling light reinvents the use of natural stone with rare mastery. Its shade is not a simple block, but a fascinating mosaic of genuine alabaster shards meticulously assembled by hand. This geometric composition, framed by an elegant forged metal mount, creates a sumptuous "mineral stained glass" effect. When lit, each piece of alabaster reveals its own opacities and veins, offering a unique textured spectacle on your ceiling.
Designed for discerning interiors, this ceiling light solves the challenge of limited ceiling heights without sacrificing design. With a remarkably thin thickness of just 5 centimeters, the BATRAZ delicately hugs your ceiling. It does not clutter the visual space, but dresses it in a sleek, majestic luminous disc, perfectly integrated into the architecture of your living room or kitchen.
More than just a decorative object, it is a true ambiance tool. Equipped with innovative LED technology and a dimmable version, the BATRAZ allows you to adjust the atmosphere according to your desires. Switch from a bright, functional white light for cooking, to a comforting neutral light, up to a warm and intimate halo for your evenings. A perfect fusion between ancient sculptural art and modern flexibility.
The material · Alabaster
A natural, translucent stone. Switched off, it stays matte; switched on, light passes through it and reveals its veins.
From quarry to workshop.
Cut, turned, then sanded: the thinner the wall, the softer the light.
A soft, dry cloth. No water and no cleaning products.
Yes. Every vein pattern is different. Yours will have its own character.
By day, its matte texture creates a soft presence. At night, when lit, it becomes an organic source of light. Two objects in one.
